Lufthansa is taking luxury to new heights with its exclusive Allegris First Class cabin, now available on select long-haul routes for the summer 2025 season. This new experience is featured on flights from Munich to key destinations such as San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru. Additionally, starting in mid-April, passengers can also enjoy these top-tier products in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class on routes to New York-Newark, with Charlotte following suit in August.
A New Level of Opulence with Personalized Suites
Since February, the airline has begun rolling out the cutting-edge Allegris cabin across nine A350-900 aircraft, eight of which are equipped with the new First Class. Over 500,000 passengers have already experienced the enhanced cabins, and the retrofitting of the airline’s existing fleet is underway, with the Boeing 747-8 first in line.
The newly redesigned First Class features three exceptional suite configurations: two individual suites and the spectacular Suite Plus. In the individual suites, passengers can fine-tune their comfort by adjusting the heating or cooling of their nearly one-meter-wide seats. These private spaces feature towering walls, secure lockable doors, expansive tables, state-of-the-art 43-inch screens, and premium wireless headphones, all of which elevate the in-flight experience to unprecedented levels of comfort and privacy.
Each suite also includes personal wardrobes, offering convenient storage for clothing and belongings, while adjustable lighting allows guests to create the ideal ambiance throughout the flight.
The Suite Plus, a double cabin, redefines intimacy and comfort. It boasts two wide seats that convert into a spacious double bed, offering exceptional comfort for couples. It also caters to solo travelers who desire extra space and privacy, creating a luxurious and exclusive flying environment for all.
Transforming the Passenger Journey Across All Classes
Lufthansa’s new First Class is part of an expansive overhaul aimed at enhancing the entire premium travel experience. This includes newly renovated check-in areas in both Frankfurt and Munich, along with a sleek redesign of the First Class Lounge at Munich Airport.
The airline has also introduced cutting-edge, sustainable innovations designed to improve convenience for travelers. Starting this summer, all passengers on intercontinental flights will enjoy unlimited free messaging, allowing them to stay connected with friends and family by sending and receiving text messages, photos, and more via their smartphones or tablets.
In a major leap forward for passenger convenience, Lufthansa now offers an advanced baggage tracking system at Frankfurt Airport, enabling travelers to track their luggage through Apple AirTag technology. This is part of the “Future Onboard Experience” initiative, which aims to overhaul the entire onboard service offering, including dining options, tableware, blankets, amenity kits, and more. The upgraded services are expected to be unveiled during Lufthansa’s centenary celebrations next year.
Business Class Upgrades and New Lounge Experiences
Business Class passengers can also look forward to a range of enhancements, including an entirely revamped catering service that provides a wider selection of hot and cold dishes, offering more choice and variety. Additionally, major renovations to the airline’s lounges in Newark and London Heathrow are already complete, with plans to upgrade 30 more lounges over the next year, ensuring that every touchpoint of the travel experience is elevated.
Lufthansa’s latest upgrades mark a bold step in the evolution of air travel, ensuring that passengers experience unmatched comfort, service, and luxury, no matter the class they’re flying.
